Dadan uses advanced AI technologies to ensure high accuracy when transcribing video content. This service is ideal for content creators, educators, and businesses looking to enhance their video accessibility.
- Note: The AI Transcript is a central part of the dadan AI Assistant features. You’ll need to generate the transcript first, as it provides the foundation for other tools.
Steps to transcribe your dadan video #
To transcribe your video audio:
- Open the video playback screen after recording or access it from your Personal Library.
- Click the Transcript button in the dadan AI Assist box.
- Choose the language spoken in the video and click the Generate Transcript button.
- Click Yes in the confirmation message box and wait for the transcribing to finish.
- Once the transcription is complete, a box will appear containing the searchable transcript text along with three action buttons: Search, Edit, and Copy.
- Only admin users can edit.
- Once you have done this, you can click Close.
- You can also delete the transcript text if you want, click the Delete Transcript button.
Viewing your video transcript captions #
Once the transcript is complete, you can view it directly in the video player.
- Select Captions in the settings menu to view the video transcript captions.
- The transcript captions will appear in the video.
Transcript in dadan share screen #
Viewers can read, copy, and search the transcript of the dadan videos, but they cannot edit it.
To open the transcript as a viewer:
- In the video share screen, open the Transcript tab under the video.
- Viewers can use the Copy button, the Search Transcript bar. The Clear button is to clear the search words.
- You can disable this option from your Video Share Page settings for video and comments.
Transcribe your video for AI Assistant features #
All AI Assist features rely on the video AI Transcript. You’ll need to generate the transcript, which provides the foundation for other tools.
If you have not created a transcript before, these features will make the video AI Transcript before proceeding:
- You’ll see a message asking: “Transcribe your video?” Click on it.
- Complete the steps as previously.
Once the transcript is ready, the AI Assist feature you selected will continue as expected.
