The AI Prompter feature in dadan Recorder is a dynamic tool designed to assist users in delivering natural, confident recordings by providing real-time script support. Accessible via the Prompter button on the toolbar, this section integrates seamlessly into the recording interface, displaying customizable text that scrolls at a user-defined pace.
It is ideal for tutorials, presentations, or scripted content; it also leverages AI to generate, adapt, and refine scripts based on your input or recording context.
How it works #
The AI Prompter works as follows:
- Click the Prompter button to open the prompter pop-up. A text box appears, pre-populated with a default script. You can write manually or paste your script directly into the text box.
- Use the AI writing option, which suggests content based on your text prompt.
- Modify the generated text, like rephrasing awkward sentences or adding emphasis cues.
- Click the Play button to sync the text with your speaking pace.
- Drag the pop-up using the dots icon to position it over a chosen backdrop for readability.
Practical use case example #
As an example for a product demo:
- Input prompt: “Showcase new feature X, highlight benefits, and end with a call-to-action.”
- The AI-generated script: “Start by displaying Feature X. Explain its time-saving benefits. Conclude with Try it now!”
As you record, the text scrolls, keeping you on track while allowing improvisation. After recording, the transcribed audio aligns with the prompter text, simplifying the editing process.
