Quick fixes #
- Update the extension
Make sure you are using the latest version of the dadan extension. Newer releases include fixes for camera persistence when switching tabs.
- Switch to the browser recorder
Record directly from the dadan browser recorder. It provides more stable webcam handling across tab changes.
- Check profile picture mode
Confirm that Profile Picture Mode is not enabled. When active, it replaces the live camera feed with a static image.
- Verify the recorded page
Ensure the active tab contains visible content. Dadan does not record empty or blank pages, which can cause the camera preview to disappear.
