The Viewer Engagements feature in dadan provides insights into how viewers interact with your video. You can track metrics like total views, impressions, view rate, and Call-To-Action (CTA) clicks to understand audience engagement levels.
Accessing dadan viewer engagements #
You can easily access detailed engagement data for your videos. Follow these steps to view how your audience is interacting with your content:
- Navigate to the video you want to analyze.

- In the Viewer Engagements panel below, click See Engagement for a summary of viewer interactions.

- Note: For interaction engagement insights. For more details, refer to the Interactions results.
Engagement metrics explained #
Dadan key metrics help you analyze your video’s performance and viewer engagement.
- Total Video Views: The number of times your video was watched.
- Total Video Impressions: How many times the video was displayed to viewers.
- Total View Rate: The percentage of impressions that resulted in actual video views.

- Total CTA Clicks: The number of times viewers clicked on the Call-To-Action (CTA) button.
- Viewer Names & Engagement: A list of viewers along with their interaction details. Each viewer is represented by their name (or “Anonymous” if they are unidentified).
- Viewer Engagement Metrics: Engagement metrics include the number of views, comments, and CTA clicks. This helps track individual viewer behavior and identify key audience members.

Viewer insights #
You can click on a viewer’s name to see detailed insights, which will help you gain a deeper understanding of individual engagement.

By clicking on an individual viewer, you can see:
- Total Video Views: How many times they watched the video.
- Completion Rate: Whether they watched the video in full.
- View Times: The specific timestamps when they watched the video.
- CTA Clicks: If they interacted with the CTA button.

Activity tracking #
The Activity section helps you track specific engagement events. If no additional interactions occur beyond video views and CTA clicks, this section remains empty.
