The dadan quick recording button provides a fast and convenient way to start recordings directly from your browser. This floating icon at the bottom-left corner offers easy access to key features, smoothing your workflow.
Whether you’re recording or accessing local recordings, it’s just a click away. Here’s how it works and how you can disable it if needed.
Sticky quick recording button #
The floating dadan icon is in the browser’s bottom-left corner. Hovering over it expands it into a small bar that can be moved anywhere within the browser.
It helps you to quickly click:
- Record: Open the dadan extension window, just like the main dadan icon bar.
- Choose: Open a floating window to all your cloud videos in your Personal Library and Team Spaces.
Why is sticky recording used? #
You’ll find it especially helpful when:
- You need to record something quickly before the moment passes.
- You’re switching between multiple tabs and want recording controls within reach.
- You frequently capture short demos, bugs, or quick explanations while browsing.
Enable/disable the sticky quick recording button #
To enable/disable the dadan quick recording button:
- Open the dadan extension.
- Click the settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Locate the Sticky Quick Recording option.
- Check/uncheck the box.
